  • These were actually some of the most thoughtful words on the subject I've heard today. Thank you TNT crew.

    • @Broc's area exactly politics is trash

    • @Broc's area everyone on the panel is working over time for democrats

    • What? Pfffffff We came here for basketball, not FAKE tears

  • Very classy and sincere by the inside panel to deal with such a relevant and sensitive topic. I rate inside the nba highly

  • I like how Chuck said that the elected representatives are supposed to represent all the people, not just their party

    • @RexRegum Ignoring the politics of the situation is also a way to further political views. So he could throw that back at you, you choose to ignore certain aspects of this tragedy because of politics. That is also insensitive to the victims and people that do not want things like this to happen again.

    • @Chuck Sucks because that's not how it's supposed to be. Tje government is supposed to work for everyone's welfare and not just it's vote banks. That's how a nation/society progresses.

    • @☁POPULATION-_-420🌿 what this gotta do with Kyle

    • @☁POPULATION-_-420🌿 seriously dude? Are you seriously going to use this tragic incident to further your political views and agendas? Are you seriously that insensitive?

  • "The demonic mind is illogical" that's deep Kenny and very true. Unfortunately it is just going to be a thoughts and prayers campaign and then it's a do-over. I honestly feel for the parents who aren't gonna kiss their kids goodnight tonight. As a parent, I just can't fathom that 😥

    • @Smartkid2387 I don't think you read my comment then... I said these things haven't been implemented. Scientists have been calling for education and mental health reform for a while now and little has happened. Knowledge of why something occurs doesn't imply action. Also, it's important to have a multifaceted approach and not get overly caught up in the "now". Not everything has a short term, immediate solution and it's important to understand that. Gun control and background checks is the short term solution, but real change required long term movements, and the longer we use the line of thinking that long term change isn't useful, the longer we delay a real fix to the problem. You see this issue occur constantly in American politics. Realisticlly, four years is an incredibly short amount of time to see real effective change in any government sector in a country the size of the US, yet we make our decisions based off of an expectation of immediate success, leading to short term plans that almost always fail. The sooner one can accept that not all problems have quick solutions, the better you'll be able to effectively solve problems.

    • @TheHeadincharge but you’re not addressing my point is that if those things have been around for a long time , why is this now happening? Also why doesn’t this happen in other countries? Furthermore education sounds like a long term implementation. How would that help the problem now? Are you suggesting that nothing can be done now and we focus on preventing potential mass shooters who are young now?

    • @TheHeadincharge Not sure I understand your reply... I agreed on the fact that mental ilnesses such as NPD for example are product of trauma(and yeah genetics too) and are very predictive. And no, a normal person will not react as predictable as a NPD person for example, it will be much more natural and depending on more factors. For example I know a NPD person who cannot respond to criticism in any other way but getting hostile and defensive. A mentally healthy person will evaluate what is said to them and will get defensive if they conclude the criticism is not valid and if they conclude that it is valid they will accept it and change their behaviour. NPDs have no such mechanisms.

    • @Dipthong thathongthongthong Couldn’t agree more. I understand he meant well, but he converted an archaic and unhelpful view on mental health in the process.

  • Chuck is absolutely right! This country is so divided and is falling apart in front of our eyes.

    • @Roger Jeanice evil will always lurk , GOD is perfect , us men are not but…blessings brother

    • No he is not. But he shows his ignorance of U.S. history quite well.

    • This country hax always been divided. And who did the dividing. Good and Christian is an oxymoron, or a curtain people run behind to hide their true beliefs and feelings towards others.

    • @Jay hate is learned. And those things th a t havw thegreatest effect on people who do things like this are taught at home and in the church. And i t seems the teachings are effective and lessons well learned.the see we vildoes not stand in the pulpit, nordoes the devilwork for a living.

  • “The Demonic Mind is illogical” Wise words from the Jet.

    • That is a cop-out. He lewrnwd that hatred, and nor fr rom the devil.

    • WHOSE? THE POLICE, THE SHOOTER, OR BOTH?

    • @Dipthong thathongthongthong actually if person getts possesed that doesn't mean he is evil its just out of his control at that point and he needs help....i kinda refuse to belive human mind can do that even though history is full cases like this RIP to all victims and prayers for the famillies and friends

  • AMEN CHUCK. As much as people clown him, he comes out and speaks like an elder statesman.

  • God bless all of those innocent children and their parents. My daughter is in elementary and I couldn’t ever imagine getting a phone call like this. It’s truly heartbreaking 💔

    • @Larry x 🤣🤣 Facts. He’s a fraud

    • @Larry x it’s not Gods fault that some demon filled man did this

    • @Larry x God tests us all, ask the people in power who are bought and paid for. I believe in the right to own guns, but there needs to be more done... to prevent guns getting to people who are not responsible. Obviously, this person should have never had a firearm.

  • Inside The NBA continuing to be the shining example of television broadcasting by still being the only show not afraid to hold back their punches. This is the kinda stuff we love them for.

  • Chuck said it perfectly. The representatives are supposed to represent all the people. It shouldn't be about party lines. Do what's best for everybody!

  • this is why i respect these 4 guys. Yeah they joke around but they know when to be serious RIP to all the lives lost

  • Charles Barkley has a point about the country's situation even before and after the election. Condolence to the victims of the incident.

  • It’s an unspeakable tragedy that occurred today. Just awful. Prayers to all those families.

    • @Patrick Born in ND fool.

    • @☁POPULATION-_-420🌿 He was a latino LGBT member

    • @Patrick no he was exceptionally American. These types of things rarely happen in Latin American countries

    • @☁POPULATION-_-420🌿 Except he was HisPPPanic related to El Chapo and came from the border

  • Most insightful non political and non bias take. Better than actual news stations.

    • WHEN THEY TALK ABOUT HOW BAD GUNS ARE AND WHO CAN GET THEM IT BECAME POLITICAL.

  • Thanks to these guys for being real, breaking away from the sports to reality! These tragedies affect us all.

  • The Inside the NBA crew’s coverage of this situation was exponentially better than that of the news channels, and I’m talking about the channels on BOTH sides of the political spectrum. After their half-hearted condolences they immediately go onto to push their political agendas or stop the other from pushing theirs. Absolutely disgusting, to do that in a time like that. Inside the NBA did it so much better than the news 💯

    • There is nothing political about background checks on people having access to an unnecessary weapon…

  • You have to love this group. They share funniness and especially class, emotion.

  • Charles words were really sincere and honest... Thank you guys.. My thoughts and condolences to all the victims... I'm a high-school teacher myself.. It is always devastating to deal with such a topic in class...

  • You rarely see kerr get carried away with his emotion, but knowing his background and how his father died the same way that what was happening today so you know this hits him hard

  • love the inside panel guys, They are always great at tackling larger sensitive issues and pointing out the change needed. Its sad that these days people need to here it from them, instead of our politicians and lawmakers. The divide needs to end in our country.

  • THANK YOU KENNY!!! My prayers with the family. Smh

  • Thank you Shaq!!! We was taught that growing up. We never hurt kids and mothers. Smh

  • That’s what I love from these guys: they always speak from the heart.

  • Prayers goes out to families, friends and well wishers left behind who are grieving the loss of those children and Teacher killed in Texas.

  • I’m a parent and this hurt me sooo bad!!! May God bless the parents/guardians of those precious little angels and the family of the teacher as well! You all have a greater reward waiting for you all in heaven!!! 🙏🏽 🙏🏽 🙏🏽

  • Wow! I felt all of this. Thoughts and prayers 🙏🏾

  • This is what sets these guys apart from any other sports broadcast. Kudos to you gentlemen respectfully.

  • Continuing to send our love, condolences and prayers to families that lost their loved ones. So much division is happening in front of us everyday. Literally. Change needs to happen and you ask for it so much over and over. When will it end and be enough?

  • Something’s just telling me, there will be those that’ll be said “SHUT UP AND STICK TO SPORTS”. That doesn’t belong at a time, especially like now as it’s a elementary school. Those that survived, are going to unfortunately be scarred for life. R.I.P to the 18 innocent souls lost by an irresponsible 18 year old.

    • @Alex This literally doesn't, what are you trying to insert?

    • @Alex This doesn't.

    • @Dusk it does

    • These senators are cowards. How many more innocent people do we have lose because of those politics.

  • Man this crew always keep it real. Bless ‘em fr and May those sweet souls rest in heavenly peace 😕🙏🏽

  • Chuck is so correct, we can't get numb to this. Unimaginable this keeps happening in our country. Kids deserve to be safe in school. We require a safety test before people can drive.... but not for deadly weapons?

    • Driving is a privilege not a constitutional right. No adult should need a safety test to purchase a gun.

  • chuck is absolutely on point as always. rip 🕊

  • RIP to all of those children who loss their lives and this evil tragic event, and rip to the elder brothers and sisters in Buffalo who lost their lives as well. These innocent people blood is on the hands of both democrats and republicans they’re responsible for this!

    • Both songs Shaq talking and after what's da name

    • What's Dat song when Shaq talking please 🥴

    • @Guilherme Vieira there is a correlation but tbh it’s relatively small. it’s mostly male teenagers committing mass shootings, think about it… teenagers not adults, I don’t think gun laws would make a big difference.

  • Chuck is 100% correct about all of this especially about the politicians in both parties voting along party lines.

    • @Clevis Bernier well Yea , but that’s not the point lol he was just able to purchase those guns without background checks most. We talking about easy to obtain firearm here.

    • @Ricky Bobby Roode it wasn’t a legal purchase than.

    • Yes a gun is very easy to get. I’ve known 15 year old who’ve owned a gun.

    • @Eddy Cheung 18 is an appropriate age for gun ownership.

  • Even if you're not a parent or a grandparent, you still feel the gut wrench from hearing that 18 kids being gunned down inside their school. Kids, parents, grandparents and teachers shouldn't be worried about these kinds of things inside schools, but look at right now giving a lot of reasons to be worried about violence inside schools. I hope all government officials take these things seriously whether it be in the USA or in other countries because this is an insane concern. RIP to all those killed in the incident and condolences to their families 🙏

  • Great thoughts guys. I’m glad your talking about this. Something needs to change. I think Steve’s point with the background checks comment was really just the simple fact we need to start somewhere, and that would be a good place to start. But Shaq is also right, something more is going to have to happen beyond that.

  • I never thought about it until Chuck said it, it's actually pretty messed up that young teenagers are the ones doing it. Not that it excuses older adults to do it but it makes the situation even bleaker than it already is.

  • Thank you TNT crew. Thx Shaq for bringing the perspective on the situation that goes beyond the legislature.

  • I'm a parent of a 3 year old son who me and my girlfriend were planning on sending off to school in August and after this we don't even know when we will send him off. Prayers to all the families and really hope big changes come soon.

  • May they Rest In Peace Prayers to the victims families and those traumatized by the event 🙏🏼

  • Charles is correct. Watch this become a political issue instead of focusing on a solution that will benefit all.

    • @Tom T We dont need to talk solutions. we know EXACTLY what they are. it IS a political power issue.

    • @albundy06 how dare they argue for gun control after a school shooting. How dare they try and fix a problem instead of sending thoughts and prayers like every republican politician does.

    • @albundy06 apparently a record number of people felt he was the best candidate to lead the US. I don't see it but that's just me. Seems like history is doomed to repeat itself when it comes to gun violence in the US.

  • Thank you Kenny. Some ppl are just pure evil. Nothing more nothing less. No rhyme or reason, just evil! No need to try to justify or figure out why. He’s a demon, plain and simple.

    • @albundy06 what are YOU talking about Al? Children were killed AT SCHOOL, not their homes. Of course you defend yourself if someone brings evil to your door, most ppl would agree. That’s not what happened at Robb elementary.

    • @Alexis Goode agreed. The demon overcame him, he was broken.

    • @Benny någon sad but true

    • He HAD a demon spirit inside of him. He still had an opportunity to be overcome by the Holy Spirit. However, he’s dead now.

    • It will definitely happen more often, especially when it’s so cool to be a demon and evil right now

  • Thank you TNT guys!! Much respect to everyone sitting at that desk!!

  • Very touching fellas and well done always touching on real issue when yall can

  • Greatest TV show of all time. It's a shame it often gets cut by this thing called 'basketball.'

    • @Alex my point is he was also saying that regardless of his username he’s appreciating the fact that they are talking about it over basketball in this segment because of the shooting that happened. Don’t get my point twisted either but that’s the way I interpreted it.

    • @Nick V and to clarify, I love that they’re using this platform to speak about this issue and those alike. Don’t get it twisted

    • @Nick V you just asked about it, how do you not care about it now? Lol. And he’s not even talking about this issue at hand.

    • @Alex I don’t care about his name. He’s talking about the issue at hand.

    • @Nick V did you read his name? Lol

  • Love this show. Love these people.

  • Thank you for the great views and insight into this tragic event.

  • "When you send your kids to school, they're SUPPOSED TO BE SAFE" Talk 2 em Chuck!!!!

  • I've been here in the US for 4 years, I'm originally from the Philippines. The one drastic difference I have noticed is the lack of security guards in all the establishments. Back in the Philippines - every mall, every school, every big store has at least 1 security guard. Here in the US, people can easily walk in and out of anywhere with a gun and no one will notice. Put more security in schools and crowded establishments. Make guns harder to get.

  • This entire conversation is exactly the same one I feel like I've had for a better part of a decade now. There's been three different administrations with nothing done. It's deeper than just party lines.

    • @MRios1128 Crazy

    • @MRios1128 exactly, our country has too many issues to focus on ... to help overseas

    • We can send 50 billion to Ukraine but can't spend money domestically to protect kids..

  • Can’t compare with demonic over logical…Dude, Kenny well said…Well said. 🙏🙏🙏💯 Prayers go to all of those parents

  • the pain in EJ's voice man....says it all...

  • "what is happening in your world to be so angry and 17/18 years old" that is really an important comment by Chuck.

  • Armed guards at every school. Even if you don't think it's the ideal solution it's better than anything else we could do in the meantime.

  • "You send your kids to school, they're supposed to be safe" -Charles Barkley

  • REST IN PEACE TO ALL THOSE BEAUTIFUL LILTTLE SOULS MY HEART GOES TO THOSE INVOLVED🙏🙏.......... DONT LET WHAT SHAQ JUST SAID GO OVERALL YALL HEADS .....WE NEED TO PROTECT SHAQ AT ALL COSTS

  • Chuck is the realest. He always speaks truth and with wisdom. He is always thinking about the best thing for all people.

  • Rest in peace to all the little ones who lost there lives today I'm so tired of saying this man

  • Children should be happy, live happy, go to school to learn, make new friends, feel safe in there. This is so wrong! So wrong! Young souls losing their lives with so much to live and to discover! And Chuck's questions and words... Such a wise man!

  • It was great to hear them speak like this though because we all know how the media talks about it so great job guys.

  • This show is incredible.

  • All I'm gonna say I feel somewhat blessed I don't live in America. RIP to everyone involved, I really hope you can fix this problem, please do something.

  • I love you 4! I wish I could vote you guys into office because you guys are talking more reasonable about this topic that shouldn’t be off limits in moving society closer together and not farther apart. Public safety, kid’s safety, EVERYONES safety shouldn’t even be a debate!! I appreciate you guys and send my love to you and your crew. Peace and love from a white man that can’t jump. 🫶🏼🙏🏼

  • Kenny really said best🙏🏾🕊

  • Chuck always speaks facts

  • chuck was so well spoken here

  • 3:40 to answer chucks question is what’s been said for years. From 18 going up, most say “so and so thing is true because I say it’s true” and everyone that hears it knows about the subject being spoken of, whatever is spoken and the person can be 100% incorrect. You correct them than he/she lashes out. People just can’t stand getting corrected, people can state their opinions fine, but just when someone gets corrected one shouldn’t lash out.

    • Yeah and when everyone trying to one up each other in terms of “how evil can I get compared to the other guys” just makes everything worse. I mean right now by the kids it’s important to be a shooter if you want to be cool and it’s somehow really cool to be a demon. What happens? The people that don’t have any limits will go crazy

  • that's truly deep, you never wanted to send ur children to school just to end up being a victim of an idiotic psychopath gunman. it's truly heartbreaking to see these innocent children who might be one day finding a cure of cancer or whatever that is, but ended up like this. i have 0% hope for all these senates or whoever running the government up there cuz yes, the only thing they care about is money, wine, and women. they've never given 0 attention to these kind of stuff other than sending a letter of condolences

  • Let’s all appreciate how he makes us smile every day I+b)

  • Beautiful messages, and tribute. Thank you. Love, Kevin from Buffalo, NY - "The City of Good Neighbors"

  • The realest chuck ever spoke💯

  • Ești un idol LYNELLEE.Uno mereu în inima mea 💋 frumos, dragoste, alegere, cultural. Sunt unul dintrei cele mai bune concerte....

  • Kenny and Chuck hit on some of it in terms of mental health and partisan politics. Politicians certainly aren't in it for the people but mostly corporate donors. But honestly laws have been passed on this before, but were repealed in the late 90s...right before columbine

  • spot on by chuck as always 👏

  • shout out shaq talking about daily shootings in the hood no one ever talks about this

    • Did the crew talk about the former player who was gunned down the other day? Do they talk about all the high school ball players gunned down in the streets? I mean the league painted BS black lives matter on the courts. They must have talked about all this right!

    • @Mike Bryant ah so i assume ur anti abortion as well caring about babies right

    • @Parker tell that to those babies who were killed. Parkland. FOH

  • RIP... this should not be happening in this day & age... THoughts & prayers

  • I grew up idolizing the land of opportunity, the land of the free and the home of the brave. America is a young country, but a great one historically. As a Canadian losing faith in my country's leadership and identity, I hope both of our nations find our way again. It's sad to see a Nation divided by ideology, politics, ethnicity, or religion. I believe people are inherently good, and community is important. We all want to live safely, comfortably, and happily. I hope the people find one voice despite the media and government creating a divide.

  • Rest In Peace🙏🏻

    • Rest In Peace but no accountability! Get ready to say Rest in Peace times ♾

    • @Mike Bryant I gotcha man

    • @Mike Bryant once? This is my first comment

    • How many times have you said that

  • I am planning to come to US for my Phd from japan but everytime i hear these incidents, it scares me to my core and makes me worry if i am making the right decision

    • It can happen anywhere remember the fellow he moved from Philadelphia I believe to rural Montana to get away from violence, and his daughter was kidnapped and shot. They made a movie about it, I think she was training for the Olympics it was called the Kerrie Swenson story I believe ? Point being,it can happen anywhere.

    • Depends. Where in the US?

  • Rip to All 🙏🙏🕊️🕊️🕊️
